Artists are the heartbeat of our communities, serving as soul-stirrers, dream weavers, and storytellers who reflect our humanity and unite us through shared experiences. They preserve traditions, challenge norms, and inspire change, fostering empathy and understanding. Artists offer solace, inspiration, and a sense of belonging, reminding us of our interconnectedness and capacity for compassion.
It is for these reasons that we have launched Gotham Studios Theater: to honor the vital role of artists as community servants, guardians of culture, and catalysts for change.
Through this venture, we aim to celebrate creativity, elevate diverse voices, and create a space where artistry flourishes, enriching lives and shaping a brighter future for all.
Amelia Gotham's dynamic career ignited at 16 in Lake Tahoe, where she discovered her passion for theater in Midsummer Nights Dream at the The Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival. Rising swiftly, she claimed the title of the youngest Director at the Brewery Art Center in Carson City, NV. Fuelled by a fervor for the arts, she refined her craft at the Pacific Conservatory of the Performing Arts, mastering various stage disciplines.
Upon her move to Los Angeles, Amelia flourished in indie films and stage performances, earning accolades and the prestigious LA Weekly’s Best Stage Performance for her portrayal as The Governess in "Turn of the Screw."
Venturing into the world of voiceover, she left her mark in renowned video games like Final Fantasy, Steel Battalion, Let it Die, and even as Princess Mipha in the iconic Zelda series.
With an unwavering passion for photography, Amelia has helmed Gotham Studios Photography for over 11 years, excelling in the realms of portrait and fashion photography.
As she continues to pave the way for aspiring artists, Amelia eagerly anticipates creating a nurturing space for talents to flourish, grow, and share their gifts with the world.
